We want to make sure your home stays comfortable and safe.  We also want to avoid expensive and inconvenient issues caused when things aren't caught early enough.  We will reach out and schedule an annual maintenance check to identify these things.  

Our Annual Maintenance Policy 

Why are you taking pictures during the Checkup?

There's multiple reasons.  During the checkup, we take pictures of the whole property -- interior, exterior, mechanical systems, and other stuff.  It helps ensure we have a current record of the condition of items that require maintenance or future repair.  When we have pictures of items that need repair (for example, a garbage disposal) it makes replacement much faster and convenient for our residents.  Also, the person taking the pictures might not notice something (like clogged gutters) that we notice when looking at the pictures.  The pictures also indicate how well residents are caring for the home. 

Do I need to clean the home for the Checkup?

It's helpful for things in the home to be tidy, yes.  The easier everything is to access and see, the less inconvenient the process is.

Will I be billed for repairs identified during the Checkup?

It depends, but we try to avoid it.  We take care of anything that's our responsibility (like leaking toilets).  We point out things that are the residents' responsibility (like cleaning air filters on heaters).  Sometimes we need to address resident-caused issues to prevent them from causing more problems (like interior pest-control issues).  Our goal is always the same -- a safe and enjoyable home where you thrive and can spend the best years of your life.
